BECK-IMPEX TRACTORS
Since generations, the family Beckers has a tradition of growing and selling (their own) products on the Belgian and European market.
Around 1870, the family possessed a brewery and a farm. A few decennia later the brothers BECKERS were also well known as cattle handler.
In 1950, Firmin Beckers died. His son Emile was only 4 years old at the time. Much too young to succeed his father.
However, only 10 years later, at the age of 14, Emile started growing hard fruit. This became his life and passion. Emile always kept looking for new opportunities and innovation. More than 25 years ago, he was one of the first fruit grower to cultivate JONAGOLD, the most successful brand for years.
In 2004, Emile’s son Kris Beckers, took over the fruit farm. In the footsteps of his father, Kris was one of the pioneers to cultivate KANZI, a new, very tasteful and juicy apple, that will be a strong successor of Jonagold.
Because of the current high quality standards of agricultural products, it became extremely important that all works can be easily executed, in due time. To achieve this, Kris is constantly looking for high quality and profitable machinery. In his search for new opportunities throughout Europe, he came in close contact with NEW HOLLAND and started to sell the brand himself. Since several years, BECKIMPEX supplies worldwide ex hire/demo Tractors and Combines.
